Steve Meyers, leader of ISWoR and prime mover of what calls itself
"Workers Solidarity With Chechnya", has just put 2 posts on the L-I LIST
that repeatedly claim that Russia is imperialist. To think otherwise
is considered by Meyers to be ultra-Left!

Also included are positions that call for ...Russian Military Withdrawal
From Chechya...

There is no call for US/ NATO withdrawal from The Caucasus, or from The
Balkans, or from The Ukraine, where NATO wants to go. ISWoR
considers these demands unnecessary, because they equate Russian foreign
policy as "imperialist", along with US policy.

This is interesting, Steve. How many of the major world banks and
their capitalist owners are residing in this new (or maybe old, in your
opinion) "imperialist" country? What makes a country imperialist,
the use of it's military against an ehnic minority? In that case,
there must be a myriad of "imperialist " countries for you to oppose.

Gather around, Comrades, we're off to fight the imperialism of Iraq,
Serbia, and The Sudan! But I believe that the English speaking
forces that Meyers and ISWoR represent, rather specialize in being a
new "Human Rights Organizaton" for Russia, and what it considers to be
victims of the "Russian imperialist capitalist class". How noble,
apparently there isn't enough work at home.

I wouldn't want Steve to have to go on the dole, from lack of work
opposing British militarism. Steve, feel free to come to our shores
in the USA and help out with the struggle to keep the US out of Mexico
and the rest of Latin America. After all, you are gloating over how
you say Russia must go down in defeat. Then you won't have much to
do, will you?

Somehow, I think that you would begin to organize a new ...WORKERS
SOLIDARITY WITH CHINA, first, before say.... working on the issue of
Colombia.

Not in solidarity with your position at all,
Tony Abdo
